Black Currants are a longtime favorite of Stone Brewing co-founder Steve Wagner and are very traditional in European sours. We’ve loved working with blackberries ourselves in the past and knew they’d be perfect for a Stone Mission Warehouse Sour series beer. The first two beers in this series were amazing, so we really wanted to continue to raise the bar as much as we could. Hence, some really intense flavors abound in this beer.
For this creation we used our semi-traditional sour base beer made with aged hops and unmalted grains. The beer was combined with Titania Black Currants, Black Diamond Blackberries and Marionberry Blackberries, then barrel-aged with Lactobacillus acid forming bacteria and Brettanomyces claussenii yeast for 15 months.
You are able to purchase up to four (4) 4-packs of Stone Mission Warehouse Sour – Blackberry + Black Currant bottles. Each 4-pack costs $32 (prices include Eventbrite service fees, credit card processing fee, CRV & sales tax).
With the purchase of each 4-pack, you’ll receive one (1) taster of Stone Mission Warehouse Sour – Blackberry + Black Currant at your designated pick-up location (subject to availability).
Purchasing Instructions (please read ALL instructions before purchasing)
Starting 1PM EST on Monday, June 11, you will be able to purchase up to four (4) 4-packs of Stone Mission Warehouse Sour – Blackberry & Black Currant bottles via Eventbrite.com. Each 4-pack costs $32 (prices include Eventbrite service fees, credit card processing fee, CRV & sales tax).
Bottles can be picked up starting 12PM on Sunday, June 10 at Stone Company Store - Richmond
You must specify your pick-up location upon purchasing the bottle. You will not be able to change your pick-up location once you have selected your preferred location. (No exceptions)
Bottles can be retrieved during standard hours of operation at Stone Company Store - Richmond from June 24 through July 8, 2018.
Sorry, we do not permit proxies to pick-up bottles from this sale. Please be sure that you are able to pick-up your beers during the designated pick-up window prior to purchasing. Any bottles not retrieved by Sunday, July 8, 2018 will be surrendered back to the brewery and proceeds will be donated to charity (no exceptions). You will be required to show valid ID matching the name listed on your ticket and confirmation of purchase from Eventbrite.com in order to retrieve your bottles during the dates listed above.
Do not purchase more than the maximum number of bottles allowed! Once you place your order, your name will be registered and any additional sales to the same purchaser/purchaser info will be voided. Any overages for whatever reason may be cancelled without notification.
