Boulevard Paw Paw’s Got A Brand New Bag Coming To Brewhouse One Series

Boulevard Paw Paw’s Got A Brand New Bag Coming To Brewhouse One SeriesFrom Boulevard:

Following up on the delicious fun we’ve had brewing and sharing Requiem for a Pancake, One Love – Imperial Stout Aged in Jamaican Rum Barrels, Rye on Rye on Rye on Rye and Allegro Non Troppo, our previous Brewhouse One Series releases, we’re excited to announce that it’s almost time to share another new, special beer with you, our friends and neighbors!

Beginning life as a Belgian-style golden sour, Paw Paw’s Got A Brand New Bag was transferred onto fresh paw paws facilitated by The Giving Grove and allowed six months to age. Following this aging period on the fruit, this complex, barrel-aged sour ale spent an additional month fermenting out in a stainless steel tank. The resulting beer bursts with bright notes of mango, tropical custard, earthy brettanomyces and a pleasant citric acidity.

Paw Paw’s Got A Brand New Bag pours a hazy golden hue boasting rustic aromas of forest floor and leather with bright floral/citrus notes. With soft lactic acidity and a touch of bracing acetic character, this sour ale melds flavors of tropical fruit, banana and the namesake paw paw with drying oak and an airy body with near effervescent carbonation.
