Fat Head's Wins again at Great American Beer FestivalWe brought you the full GABF 2017 results, and now this from Fat Heads:

Middleburg Heights — Every year since they opened the doors of their brewpub in 2009, Fat Head’s has walked away from the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) with a medal, and their most recent outing was no exception.

Alpenglow Weizenbock continued its winning ways, garnering another gold medal to add to its collection. Alpenglow also won gold in 2016 and 2014 in addition to silver in 2012. Another repeat winner, Midnight Moonlight Black IPA secured a bronze medal this year, completing the GABF trophy case trifecta with gold (2015), silver (2016) and bronze. Midnight Moonlight also has a World Beer Cup bronze award (2016) to its credit.
Fat Head’s, which holds the distinction of Ohio’s Most Award-Winning Brewery, attributes their continued success to the pride and passion of their committed staff. “We have the most dedicated, hardworking staff in the industry,” says Head Brewmaster Matt Cole. “The recognition by our peers in this ever-changing landscape of craft beer is something we certainly don’t take for granted. We’re just fortunate to be a part of it.”

About Fat Head’s — Opened in 1992 as Pittsburgh, PA’s premier craft beer bar and restaurant, Fat Head’s teamed up with head brewmaster Matt Cole in 2009 to create Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon just outside of Cleveland, OH. In response to overwhelming demand, a production facility was opened in 2012. Fat Head’s Brewery distributes three core beers and a range of seasonal offerings throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana. Fat Head’s also operates a 300 seat brewpub in the heart of Portland, OR with plans to open future locations in Canton, OH and Charlotte, NC.
