Here we have another interesting new sour coming from Upland Sour Ales in Bloomington, IN. This is Ponche and it is styled after a traditional Mexican Christmas punch. This beer is a sour ale with mayhaw, guava, apples, pears, raisins and dried plums, and the beer is aged in Tequila barrels with tamarind, cinnamon and piloncillo cane sugar. Look for Ponche to be packaged in 750ml bottles and stay tuned for release details. We also have Serene and it is a sour ale aged on whole cantaloupe and oolong tea.
