Troegs Adding New Splinter Series Dear Peter Pennsylvania Wild Fruit Ale Bottles

13 July 2017

imageThis morning we get our first look at what will likely be the next release coming to the Splinter Series from Troegs.  This is Dear Peter and it is a Pennsylvania wild fruit ale brewed with nectarines from Peters Family Farm.  According to the label, nectarines bruised in a hailstorm were used along with brettanomyces, lacto and pedio to create this barrel-aged beer (French, Hungarian & Italian oak).  Look for Dear Peter to be packaged in 12.7oz bottles and the beer will hit 6%-AbV.
