Smuttynose Adding New IPA for Wheels of Soul Tour

Craft for Causes and Tedeschi Trucks band announced the Wheels of Soul tour to benefit Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation (MHOF), a charity that provides instruments to under-funded school music programs across the country. To support the Wheels of Soul Tour, Smuttynose will feature the brand new Wheels of Soul IPA in the tap room and at Hayseed beginning June 1st. For every Wheels of Soul IPA sold, Smuttynose will donate $1 to MHOF, with the nationwide goal of $100,000. The Tedeschi Trucks Band will be joined by The Wood Brothers and Hot Tuna, with the first stop on the tour at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on July 1.

“We’re excited to announce this during American Craft Beer Week,” said John Nichols, founder of Craft for Causes. “I wanted to create something where everybody wins, and we will leave behind, literally, a trail of musical instruments for children in these cities.”

In addition to offering Wheels of Soul IPA through June and July, we’ll also be hosting the Wheels of Soul IPA Garden Party on June 5th in the Beer Garden at Hayseed Restaurant.  We’ll be featuring Wheels of Soul IPA on tap, Hayseed-original sausage, and the music of local favorite Martin England and the Reconstructed. 1$ from every beer or sausage sold will go right to MHOF, so don’t miss your chance to come out and support a great cause!

Wheels of Soul IPA uses a unique blend of hops, malts, and flavorings to create a balanced, biting IPA.  It’s perfect for contributing to a good cause.
