Breathe deeply and the agrarian fragrance of a simple saison will bring to mind meadows both visited and imagined. In spring we like to augment this in different ways with flowers and pepper, calling aromas to take us on fanciful trips of the budding spring. In Hángjú we add chrysanthemum blossoms and Sichuan peppercorns to a light, clean saison, looking to take our spring garden walk around the West lake of East China. A cooling floral drift and lightly numbing heat projecting a garden’s beauty over the sylvan nature of the beer.
