“As we head into the Summer months, we’ve brewed a beer that could be enjoyed day in and day out,” said Jake Rouse, Braxton Brewing Company’s Co-founder and CEO. “This passionfruit berliner is one of the most exciting beers we’ve ever put in a can and between the pool, camping, and grilling — it’s going to be a huge hit! ”

Beginning the week of May 15th, Summertrip cans will be available at select retailers and liquor stores across the brewing company’s distribution network in Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington and Louisville. It will also be available at bars and restaurants on draft.

Bright and crisp, this passionfruit berliner weisse is brewed to celebrate those dog days of summer that never seem to end.

“Summertrip was one of the most exciting releases we had in 2016,” said Evan Rouse, Braxton Brewing Company Co-Founder and COO. “I have always wanted to produce a beer with passionfruit, and this year it is coming to you in cans. You are going to want this to be a cooler and fridge mainstay during the boating, swimming, and camping months. Bright and fruit forward, this summer sipper will not disappoint. ”

Braxton Brewing Co. was born in the garage on Braxton Drive in Union, Kentucky. While the Rouse family was homebrewing out of that garage, they found every excuse to celebrate those long summer days with family and friends. And now, you can win an excuse to celebrate. Braxton Brewing Co. is giving away two “Kentucky Summertrips” throughout the summer. For more details and a chance to enter follow this link:

The can’s description reads:

“When the weather overheated like a radiator on the fritz, it was time to step out of the garage and head somewhere cool to relax. We found every excuse to celebrate those dog days with our family and friends, because it reminded us all that summer isn’t a season, it’s a state of mind. Introducing Summertrip, a lively beer brewed to let loose and live up those days that never seemed to end.”

Helping bring this brand to life, Braxton Brewing Co. has worked with Durham Brand & Co. to create Summertrip’s seasonal brand and can design.

“We’re excited to see this Seasonal finally in can. After debuting Summertrip last year on tap, we knew this beer would make waves in a can,” said Austin Dunbar, Durham Brand & Co. owner. “Each Seasonal has its own unique look, and for Summertrip, we wanted a can that celebrates that fun-in-the-sun lifestyle with a lively look that pairs perfectly poolside, by the grill or hanging easy with your friends.”
