Night Shift Announces El Lechedor 2017 (Kegs-Only Coming 5/2)

imageFrom Night Shift:

Good news: on May 2nd, we're tapping the 2017 batch of El Lechedor! This horchata-style milk stout was aged in bourbon barrels with poblano peppers, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla beans -  it tastes something like chocolate-covered, spiced cinnamon buns.

Bad news: our lab picked up some yeast inconsistencies and we made the decision NOT to put this batch in bottles, only kegs. To be clear, Lechedor 2017 looks and tastes just as delicious as always, but we'd rather control its storage conditions and limit its travel radius to our Taproom. Although there's only a small chance that a bottle stored under the wrong conditions for too long would produce a beer we aren't proud of, we'd rather not risk it. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you a pour in the Taproom
