It takes a tenacious spirit to enjoy a Wisconsin Winter, and this smooth dark stout was brewed to celebrate the camaraderie that Wisconsin neighbors extend toward each other in our shared struggle with the season.
Road Slush is brewed with uncut oatmeal fresh from Chilton, Wisconsin, giving this dark stout a “sink into it” smoothness. Oats have been a historically difficult grain to brew with, but Diploma Master Brewer Daniel Carey has handcrafted Road Slush in time-honored traditions, with a combination of English Chocolate Malt and Wisconsin Victory Malt combining to balance out this robust brew. New Glarus Brewing Company regards Wisconsin as a state created by good neighbors and we enjoy brewing beers that celebrate the people of this great state.
