Summit Brewing Suing 2 Ex-Employees For Sharing Trade Secrets w/Surly

imageFrom BizJournals:

The Star Tribune reports on the lawsuit by the St. Paul brewery, filed Thursday in Hennepin County against Jeffrey Spaeth and Timothy Daly. Spaeth had been Summit's vice president of sales before leaving early this year; Daly was a sales market manager. The suit alleges that Daly had emailed Summit trade secrets to Spaeth in August, and that the information was sent on to the competitor.

After leaving Summit, Spaeth joined Minneapolis-based Surly Brewing Co. as a consultant, but the lawsuit doesn't identify the competitor.
