MillerCoors & Uber Team Up To Help Reduce Drunk Driving Nationwide With Discounted Holiday Rides

CHICAGO, IL Dec. 15, 2016 - MillerCoors® today announced a partnership with Uber to help riders across the country enjoy the holiday season responsibly by offering over $350,000 in discounted Uber rides. In celebration of the holidays, Miller Lite is providing discounted Uber rides in Columbus, OH; Charlotte, NC; Dallas; Louisville, KY; Minneapolis; Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, PA.Additionally, Coors Light is giving riders in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Denver and Houston discounted Uber rides.



Through the end of the year, new and existing Uber users in 12 cities will automatically receive up to $10 off one ride. Riders who log in to their Uber app will automatically be notified about the discount code, which is valid until January 1, 2017 at 7 a.m.

In 2015, MillerCoors teamed up with Uber in more than 100 markets to offer a discounted ride. Last year, more than 1 million people joined MillerCoors to take a stand against drunk driving by planning ahead for a safe ride home.
