Hill Farmstead Releasing Aaron & Elaborative 4 On Dec 7th

From Hill Farmstead:

On Wednesday, December 7, we will have two beers for release in our Retail Shop:

First, we have the return of Aaron!
500ml, $22 per bottle, 2 bottle limit per person (credit card and matching ID required, please see our
bottle release policy).

Aaron is our barleywine-style ale aged in bourbon barrels. Aaron A. Hill (1785 - 1869) was our great-great-great grandfather who operated the original tavern in North Greensboro—an industrious, inventive and indomitable figure in the community.  The Hill Farmstead Brewery logo is based upon that tavern's original sign.  In his honor, we crafted this barleywine, which has rested, unhurriedly and undisturbed, for over 2 years in bourbon barrels from some of our favorite distilleries, absorbing the essence of its surroundings and history.

In addition, we are releasing Elaborative 4.
750ml, $10.

Elaborative 4 was originally brewed in August of 2015 with our friends Brad Clark of Jackie O's Pub & Brewery, Chad Yakobson of Crooked Stave Artisan Ales and Cory King of Side Project Brewing. We once again brewed this beer--inspired by the German radler—with ample amounts of grapefruit zest and juice, wheat, and oats. A bright, aromatic, and refreshing Farmstead® ale!

We are open Wednesday - Saturday, from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. in our retail shop.

UPDATE from Hill Farmstead:

Due to a scheduling change, we will release Leaves of Grass: 9/16/2016!
[Editor’s Note] Clearly 9/16/2016 has passed so I expect we’ll gt an update…my guess is they really mean 12/16/2016 but stay tuned

375ml, $8 per bottle, 2 bottle limit per person

Brewed on Sept. 16, 2016, this Farmstead® ale was brewed with wheat, hibiscus, sour candy and fermented entirely in oak.

Leaves of Grass represents our brewery's collective pursuit to create, explore and challenge. For each batch, we employ uniquely different processes and ingredients, all of which further our understanding of the art and science of brewing.

We will also release Florence this week.

750ml, $10.

Florence is our Farmstead® wheat ale, crafted from American malted barley, organic Vermont wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated.

We are open Wednesday - Saturday, from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. in our retail shop.
