15 November 2016
Boynton Beach, FL (November 15, 2016) — Don’t be a turkey by forgetting to bring good beer to your Thanksgiving meal. Due South Brewing Company will be hosting a series of events during Thanksgiving week, including beer releases and Black Friday specials, to help you stay cool, calm, and collected during this sometimes hectic holiday.
First, the brewery is offering up a selection of special release beers that customers will be able to take home (through growlers or crowlers) for their holiday dinner starting on Tuesday November 22: Saigon Blonde, a blonde ale brewed with cucumber, lime and jalapeno; Cranberry What the Hef?, a hefeweizen with cranberries added; and Pumpkin Latte, which takes the Isle of MaGourdo pumpkin ale, and adds fresh roasted coffee. Quantities are limited. They will be available until they run out.
Then on Wednesday November 23, Due South will be hosting a special 5 p.m. VIP tour. Learn all about the beer-making process while sampling beer made at the source. In addition, Outside the Box Food Truck will be at the brewery from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Treat yourself to a relaxing dinner before the big day.
Finally, November 25 will be Due South Brewing's 5th Annual Black Friday event. In addition to the beers already on tap, the brewery will feature limited release beers tapped throughout the day. Many of these beers are only available at the brewery and some are so limited that there is only one keg, so they won't last long!
Here are a few of the gems you can expect to see on tap for Black Friday at Due South:
- Mexican Standoff
- Mariana Trench Imperial Stout
- Bourbon barrel aged Mariana Trench Imperial Stout
- Maple Orange Imperial Caramel Cream
- Chocolate Pumpkin
- Saigon Blonde
- Chocolate Peppermint Stout
In addition to the beer, expect to find some of your usual Black Friday oriented discounts, like buy-one-get-one free specials on koozies and t-shirts, and reduced priced beer specials throughout the day. For the full details of the hour-by-hour discounts, visit the event Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/337657706598892/. Rolling Chefs food truck will be at the brewery all day Friday and VIP Brewery Tours are available for reservations at 3pm and 5pm.
As always, after 6 p.m. you must be 21 or older to be in the brewery and there are no pets allowed.
Due South Brewing Co. will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving.
