Elysian Announces Return of Bifrost

SEATTLE, WA  (November 15, 2016) - Elysian Brewing Company announces the seasonal availability of Bifrost in 12oz bottles, 22oz bottles, and on draft in select US markets.

A bold and lively winter pale ale, Bifrost (8.3% ABV) pours golden in color with orange highlights and boasts the alluringly sweet smells of caramel and orange zest. The bold, spicy, citrusy hop notes balance the full malt flavor.

“Bifrost is brewed with Premium 2-Row, Munich, and Crystal malts. The zesty citrus and spice aromas come from the Magnum, Amarillo, and Styrian Golding hops,” said Head Brewer Josh Waldman. “The result is a drinkable, balanced, strong, pale ale unlike many other seasonal winter beers, which tend to be dark, spiced, and heavy in body. The brewers at Elysian set out to create a more balanced, medium-bodied pale ale instead, with just the right amount of classic holiday beer characteristics like the sweet aromas of fruit and orange zest.”

Bifrost will be available November through December in select U.S. markets and on draft at select restaurants and bars. Seattleites can also find Bifrost at Elysian’s pubs: Capitol Hill, Tangletown, Elysian Fields, and Elysian Bar.
