As part of their nationwide journey, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales made a special visit to Far View Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation shelter in Fairplay, Colorado. On Saturday, Nov. 5, the hitch team delivered feed to surprise the shelter’s hardworking and dedicated volunteers. Talk about a BIG surprise!
Volunteers, staff members and guests were astonished as they watched the majestic, eight-horse hitch approach the shelter pulling the iconic red wagon. To their amazement, the surprise continued when they realized the wagon contained two tons of feed for the horses in their shelter.
This special visit was made possible through Anheuser-Busch’s long-standing partnership with Purina who shares their passion for horse safety and welfare. The Budweiser Clydesdales are exclusively fed high-quality Purina feed, and the Purina Animal Nutrition team works closely with the Budweiser Clydesdales team to provide ongoing equine nutrition support and counsel.
