From Boulder Beer:
As Director of Sales, Dan will lead the Boulder Beer sales team and work directly with their national distributor network to maximize the growth of the Boulder Beer brands and provide strategic direction for the business and market development. Dan will also continue to run Export Development and maintain an active role in Brand Development.
"Dan's industry knowledge, sales and marketing experience along with his passion for beer match up perfectly with our mission, vison and values,” said Jeff Brown, President at Boulder Beer Company. “In this fast paced, ever-changing marketplace his long-term relationships with both internal and external customers will assist our team in keeping pace with market trends. I couldn't be happier to have Dan step forward in this new leadership role!"
Mr. Weitz, also known in the industry as Chicken Dan, has been in Craft Brewing since 1997, and with Boulder Beer Company since 2002, previously in roles as a Marketing Director and most recently Sales Operations Director.
“I’m very excited to take a more active role working with our great team of Area Sales Managers,” said Dan. “I also look forward to more time in the market, meeting more of our distributor partners, adapting and working together to grow our brands, and increasing our share of mind across all tiers of distribution. And, maybe pass along some of the things I’ve learned along the way on this roller coaster ride of the craft brewing category.”
