Right Brain Brewery Releases Naughty Girl Scout Mint Stout

26 October 2016

From Right Brain:

Traverse City, MI, October 28, 2016 – As the weather gets colder and some craft beer drinkers gravitate towards darker beers, Right Brain Brewery is happy to greet them with Naughty Girl Mint Stout six-packs. Naughty Girl Stout, previously available only in 22 oz bottles and on draft, takes inspiration from a well-known mint chocolate cookie, delivering complex chocolate notes with a cooling minty finish.

“Right Brain Brewery adheres to a strict ‘no extracts’ brewing policy, and Naughty Girl Stout is no exception. Six malt varieties, including Roast Barley and Chocolate Malts, provide the chocolaty notes. Biodynamic Peppermint grown by Light of Day Organics provides an authentic mint flavor,” says owner Russell Springsteen. Right Brain Sales and Marketing teams are very excited about this release, both in terms of increased shelf space presence, and the fun creative design of packaging. “Our designer created four different labels for Naughty Girl Stout, each with a different girl scout riding on a motorcycle. Consumers can expect to get multiple versions in our new six pack offering,” says Marketing Coordinator Jeff Houser.

The Biodynamic Peppermint used in Naughty Girl Stout is not the only product Right Brain has used from Light of Day Organics Farm. The brewery also sources certified Biodynamic Lavender for use in their light lavender ale, Blue Magic. Angela Macke, a Registered Nurse and Founder of Light of Day, says, “We have been fans of Right Brain and their talented team for many years, so to partner on these projects has been very satisfying and a whole lot of fun for our farm family! The botanicals we grow here are exceptionally high in essential oils, making them a treasured compliment to their already high quality beer.” Demeter Biodynamic is considered the highest standard for commercially grown food throughout the world, and Light of Day Organics, located in Leelanau County, is currently the only certified Demeter Biodynamic Farm in the state of Michigan.

Naughty Girl Stout is available now throughout the state of Michigan in 12 oz six-pack bottles, 22 oz bottles and on draft.
