To start, we brewed Rise & Grind with an abundance of chocolate malts, roasted barley, flaked oats, cacao nibs, and 100% organic cold-pressed Arabican coffee from @phillyfairtrade.
Then, we aged half of the batch in freshly dumped Bourbon Barrels with maple syrup, and half in freshly dumped Rum Barrels with spicy chilies. After letting them sit in their respective barrels for just about a year, they're ready to go! The maple version contains huge notes of bourbon with a slight touch from the maple, while the chili variant provides a spicy kick on top of a plethora of chocolate.
