Kopparberg Recalling Cider Bottles Over Shattered Glass Concerns

Kopparberg is urging customers not to open the bottle or drink the contents.

Thousands of bottles of cider are being removed from supermarket shelves over fears they could shatter. 

Kopparberg issued the recall of its 750ml bottles of its sparking rose Strawberry and sparkling rose raspberry ciders after reports of several breaking.

The Swedish cider company said the affected bottles, which are only available at Asda, have best before dates up to and including April 6, 2018, according to The Herald .

Kopparberg is urging customers not to open the bottle or drink the contents and to "carefully" dispose of the bottle immediately.
