NEW YORK, NY (Oct. 24, 2016) – After scoring big at the beginning of the season with its team cans, Bud Light is expanding its NFL platform to further celebrate the most passionate football fans around the league. The Official Beer of the NFL is launching team can coolies for each of its 28 team partners so fans can keep their beer cold and their hands warm, all while showing their true colors no matter the setting.
NFL fans can pick up their own Bud Light team coolie (foam beer sleeve) by visiting the Bud Light Shop, where they’re available for just $4.95. The coolies are the perfect accessory for any fan (or superfan) who plans on rolling up to the away tailgate… but needs to do it in style with no doubts about where their loyalties lie.
Bud Light is also debuting team-specific TV spots that are tied to select matchups, which will air during specific games throughout the remainder of the NFL season. The first spot – “Rival Cans” – which aired during the Chargers vs. Raiders game, features a Raiders fan slipping a Raiders coolie over the Chargers team can he was given when he walked into a Chargers watch party. Similar spots featuring other teams will be aired rest of the NFL season during key matchups.
