Holy hell, it actually frickin' happened. The equipment is installed, our new coffee ninjas are officially on the payroll, we have soundly defeated our health inspection, and our cafe soft opening is underway. Delicious pour-overs, cold brews, espresso drinks, and more are currently flowing from the bar at our beautiful new addition inside the Fermentorium tasting room. Initial impressions of our coffee and pastry menu have varied from "unbelievably bomb" to "life-changing". Current hours are as follows:
Sunday-Thursday: 7am-3pm
Friday & Saturday: 7am-7pm
All are welcome to immerse themselves in the glorious caffeination, and are also invited to the OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING ON 9/22, which will feature a full coffee menu, special coffee flights, some delicious coffee-centric beers on tap, and more. It's going to be rad. If you haven't seen this place already, prepare to be amazed–and extremely awake.
IN EXTREMELY TASTY BEER NEWS, we just tapped our latest collaboration beer, and it is an absolute stunner. We worked with the U.K. hop whisperers at Cloudwater Brewing to create Roots of Coincidence, an outrageously delicious pale ale sporting a wheat & pilsner malt bill alongside Equinox, Southern Passion, Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops. The result is hazy, tropical, and unstoppably juicy, with a big, pillowy head and a silky, luxurious mouthfeel. It's on at both tasting rooms now and is super bangin' while it's fresh, so we'd recommend getting a move on if you want to experience it at peak majesty.
IN EVEN MORE EXTREMELY TASTY BEER NEWS, a limited run of Funky Universal Friend with Pinot Noir Grape Must is now available in take-home 750ml bottles at both tasting rooms. We brewed this saison with Pinot noir grape must (clearly) before introducing four very distinct strains of Brettanomyces, resulting in a funky, unique, and infinitely drinkable beer that we're pretty damned excited to share with you. Quantities are limited, so plan your purchasing strategies accordingly.
IN 16-OUNCE SPECIAL RELEASE NEWS, the cans for our next soaring opus of hop-sorcery have arrived, and they are ridiculously gorgeous. The only thing we're more psyched about than the design is the actual beer that's going in them, which should be ready soon. The public BPT sale for this 4-pack of hazy, lupulin-soaked magic is set for Monday, 9/19 along with a host of rad bottles, and the pick-up party will be on Friday 9/23. More info on the sale is coming soon. For now, feel free to bask in the radiance of this sexy-ass container.
