Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin release marks a seasonal shift from the warmth of summer into the cooler evenings and earlier sunsets of fall.
Brewed in the style of the farmhouse ales of Belgium's southern countryside, Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin utilizes a blend of rye, wheat and barley in the grain bill, earthy flavoring hops and a classic saison yeast. Ripe, flame-roasted Virginia sugar pumpkins and brown sugar provide this beer with a hearty backbone. Freshly ground ceylon cinnamon, whole Grenada nutmeg, whole Madagascar clove and whole allspice harmonize with pounds of freshly sliced ginger root.
Our taprooms will open at 1PM with a selection of cold drafts and tasty eats from Sammich, NYStyleFood Richmond, BoDillaz & Arroz RVA. Farmhouse Pumpkin will be available on draft for your enjoyment at the brewery, and in 750mL bottles and growler fills to go.
