Green Flash - Barrelmaster's Reserve Series: Ochre Frumento 9/17

02 September 2016

Our artist in residence, Barrelmaster Pat Korn, has created another truly exceptional barrel-aged masterpiece for the second release in our Barrelmaster’s Reserve Series. Ochre Frumento is a Barley Wine that has been aged for a combined total of 6-years in brandy and then bourbon barrels. With a 17.5% ABV (the highest ABV of any Green Flash beer ever released), this beer is truly gluttonous and complex. It pours a deep brown and presents an aroma that is sharp and spirit-barrel forward. Prominent flavors of toffee and caramel envelop the palate, and supporting notes of ripened stone fruits with nutty complexity unfold through the finish.

We will be releasing this very limited masterpiece on Saturday, September 17th at Cellar 3. Our 1st Barrelmaster’s Reserve release of Lustrous Frumento with Coffee sold out in just a few hours.

Doors open at noon, and just 600 Ochre Frumento bottles will be available on a first come, first served basis (two bottle limit), and will not last!

Mark your calendars to join us – you do not want to miss out on this release!

Cellar 3 is located at 12260 Crosthwaite Cir, Poway, CA 92064.
