It has been a long and interesting journey to get here. Words cannot describe how proud we are of our amazing staff. They have been incredibly competent and patient throughout this transition. We also need to give a big shout out to our incredible contractor Sean Gyllenborg and our Project Manager, Mark D’Angelo. To say we wouldn’t be here without them is an understatement. We are grateful for the expertise and support that Justin Bourgeois, of Community National Bank, has given us since the old pub days. Thank you to everyone, from the bottom of our hearts.

Here are some answers to questions we anticipate:

Q: What beers will be available this summer?
A: We will have mixed cases of Focal Banger, Heady Topper and Crusher available throughout the summer. In addition to these beers, we will be releasing small batch specialty beers randomly. John has begun pulling some favorite recipes from the pub, so you can expect almost anything to become available. These releases will not be announced or produced on any set schedule. When these beers are released, you will be able to buy one 4-pack in addition to a mixed case. All 4-packs will cost $12.50 plus tax and deposit, regardless of style.

Q: Should I come early?
A: We have a lot of beer to sell. It is not necessary to line up prior to our opening at 11am each day. If you visit us later in the day you should still have no problem leaving The Alchemist with beer. Please help us keep our neighbors happy and our parking lot manageable by visiting us throughout the day.

Q: Will you run out of beer?
A: We hope not. We are starting out with a limit of 1 mixed case so that we can spread our beer out as much as possible, but still make it worth a trip for beer. If we do run out of mixed cases later in the day, we will have plenty more Focal Banger to sell.

Q: How do I know what is available for sale each day?
A: You may visit our
website to see what is for sale each day.

Q: Are samples available?
A: Yes—we will have 2 ounce samples available for tasting.

Q: May I drink beer outside on your beautiful lawn?
A: Sorry, no. This is illegal. However, we have plans to create an outdoor area for sampling beer in the very near future.

Q: Do you have tours available?
A: No. However, our viewing area is in the brewery, right next to our canning line. We have lots of educational information and educated staff.

Q: May I bring my tour bus?
A: Sorry, no.
Please do not visit in an RV, bus or pulling a trailer. Please help us maximize our parking spaces.

We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Stowe!
