From New Glarus:
Summer is flying by and it’s almost time for the next R&D release of the year! This will be the second of three of Dan’s Limited Releases held at the brewery on August 12 & 13. LaFortuna Pizza will be here on Friday and Saturday serving up their fantastic wood fired pizza (beginning at around 9:00 a.m.).
Champ du Blanc is a delightful blend of aged sour blonde ale and Chardonnay Grapes. Champ du Blanc was spontaneously fermented in our Wild Fruit Cave through the winters of 2015 and 2016.
At the release on August 12 & 13, there will be a limited number of bottles available each day. There will be two bottle per person per day limit. The cost will be $10 per bottle and include tax, cash is appreciated, but not necessary. Sales will begin no later than 9:00 a.m. Valid US Photo IDs or international passports are required and will be scanned.
The final special release will be held on September 23 & 24 (Octoberfest in the village of New Glarus).
