Founders PC Pils Bottles & Cans Coming In October

29 July 2016

imageWe brought you an early peek, and now the full details from Founders:

We promised that if we have big news to share, this is where you’ll find it first. Well, now’s the time.

We’ve got a new one comin’ at you this fall: PC Pils. Look for this profoundly crushable, pleasantly crisp Pilsner in 6-pack bottles, 15-pack cans and on draft this October!

As big fans of this easy-drinking style, we knew we wanted to stay true to its characteristics while giving it our undeniable Founders twist. For us, that comes in the form of flavor-packed American hops. While Noble hops have been the preferred choice of Pilsner brewers around the world, we went with some of our favorite American varieties. Piney Chinook, pleasantly citrus Cascade and punchy Centennial make this an easy-drinker with floral hop characteristics.

We know one thing for sure: the name may be PC but the flavor behind the label isn’t.

Stay tuned to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for more details in the coming months, including where you’ll find PC Pils come fall.

=======================Official PR

Yup, it’s true.

PC Pils clocks in at 5.5% ABV and 45 IBUs.

Perhaps just as exciting as announcing a new beer is also announcing that we will be also releasing that beer in a 15-pack can package. This is the first time since All Day IPA that we have offered any of our beers in a 15-pack can package. Reason to celebrate, for sure. Glass-lovers, don’t fret, we will also be offering PC Pils in 6-pack bottles. Suggested retail price will be $9.99 for 6-pack bottles and $17.99 for 15-pack cans.

PC Pils joins our single-hop darling, Mosaic Promise, and tropical hop delight, Azacca IPA, as the third and final addition to our seasonal lineup. See the full 2016 availability calendar here.

Want to get your hands on some? PC Pils will be released in the taproom in early September, with some markets seeing it shortly thereafter. It will be available across our remaining distribution footprint from October through the end of the year.
