Fonta Flora & Wicked Weed Collaborate On “Funk And Flora”

Today we get to see a new collaboration coming from Wicked Weed and Fonta Flora.  This is Funk & Flora and it is an Appalachian Wild Ale brewed with yarrow, sourwood leaves, wild ginger and black locust flowers.  This is a 16.9oz bottle and the beer hits 5.9%-AbV.  Details fro the 7/90 release from Fonta Flora:

Saturday, July 9th we release Funk and Flora, our foraged botanical #appalachianwildale collaboration with our friends @wickedweedbrewing.

This funky sour ale aged in white wine barrels for eight months and has been conditioned in the bottle for another four months. The result is a beautiful blond wild ale with expressive notes of wine, oak and botanicals.

Doors open at 3:00pm. We will be outside bright and early passing out numbered wristbands. We will also be checking ID's and taking down names. After you receive your wrist band, you may leave the line. From that, you MUST be back to claim your spot before we start the sale. Your name and ID also MUST match. We won't allow any proxies. If you are not back in line before your number goes through the line, we reserve the right to sell your bottle(s) to folks at the end of the line.

Bottle count is 540. Limit based on turnout. Funk and Flora will also be available on draught.
