Join us on July 10th for The Curious No. 8 Tour. This limited, very special beer is a spawn out of the Emergence project. Two select wine barrels of the base beer for Emergence, affectionately called “Albert”, were chosen for their exemplary berry character to be aged on blueberries from Rhonda’s Blueberries in Union Point, GA. This was our second time using fruit from a local farm and we again relied on the farmer to suggest a varietal right for the beer. Chris and Rhonda grow the best blueberries we’ve ever tasted, and the blueberries picked for this beer are Ochlockonee blueberries. You can try these at the Athens Farmers Market where Rhonda’s blueberries are sold.
For this special tour, guests will receive special commemorative Curious Tour stemware, the opportunity to sample up to 36oz from a very special draft list (including the very limited The Curious No. 7), food pairings from Savory Spoon, live music, 2 souvenir bottles of The Curious No. 8, and extended tours with the CCBC team.
