First and foremost, Rubus Black is being bottled right now, and will release as a sixer very soon! It's been a while since we have brewed this beer. It is one of our favorite recipes, and Rubus tastes as good now as it did almost 10 years ago. We build on a Maris Otter base, and incorporate six additional malts including Special B, Chocolate, Brown, and Biscuit. We ferment a classic British yeast that leaves the beer big, sweet, and fruity. Blackberry and chocolate are then added to round the beer out - just a touch of each. This beer is a favorite of ours, and we're excited to bring it back! Look for it soon on draft and on the shelves of your favorite craft beer retailer!
Also, Save the date!!! Hopfest is scheduled for Sept 9-10. We're finalizing our last couple bands, but hope to announce times and bands early next week. As always, there will be beer, music, food, and fun located right outside the brewery's front door!
