Two Roads - Third Annual CONNartist Contest Returns

imageFrom Two Roads:

To celebrate taking the road less traveled in life and in beer, Two Roads heralds the return of their “CONNartist” contest. Artists are invited to create works depicting their personal interpretation of “taking the road less traveled." The winning piece will be reproduced and prominently featured on one of the brewery’s 30’ tall fermenters overlooking the tasting room and the artist will receive a $1000 check from Two Roads. Also, five runner-up finalists will receive $250 each.

Rules and submission guidelines are on the Two Roads website www.tworoadsbrewing.com/CONNartist2016. Artists will have until October 2 to submit their art, and all entries must be vertically oriented, 2-D and submitted in digital form (no physical art will be accepted). Website voting will select the top 15 entries and those artists will then be asked to send in their art for judging by local museum curators in mid-October. The unveiling of the winning art will take place at the brewery in November. The contest is limited to residents of MA, CT, ME, DE, NH, RI, NJ, PA, VT and NY.

This year’s contest pairs up Two Roads with the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, a place where art and science mingle in a very "road less traveled" way. Two Roads is proud to be working with such a unique and respected institution, and thanks to Deputy Director Susan Ball for her support and help in picking our panel of well-respected professionals.
