Portland, OR Laurelwood Brewing Co. has announced its official sponsorship of the local Great West League baseball team, Portland Pickles, for their inaugural season. As part of the partnership, the brewery has released a limited-run Portland Pickles Pale Ale.

“We are thrilled to team up with the Portland Pickles for their first of many seasons,” says James Buxman, the Marketing Director for Laurelwood Brewing Co. “Beer and baseball go hand in hand, and we are bringing the two even closer with our collaborative Portland Pickles Pale Ale.”

Laurelwood’s Portland Pickles Pale Ale is a punchy pale with pine and citrus hop flavors balanced by a smooth malt body. The team’s official brew is now on tap and in 22 ounce bottles at their home field, Walker Stadium, in addition to availability where better beer is sold throughout the city.

“We’re pleased to partner with Laurelwood Brewing Co., as well as excited about our pale ale,” says Ken Wilson, President of the Portland Pickles. “The beer has already become a favorite among Pickles fans!”

The Portland Pickles kicked off their season in early June, with over thirty home games scheduled through mid-August. Visit www.PortlandPicklesBaseball.com to view the full schedule and purchase tickets.
