Harpoon was started in June of 1986 by three friends who loved having beers together but couldn’t find the quality beer they wanted to drink. So they hired a brewer and after many (many) test batches, they landed on this one: Harpoon Ale. It was deeper in color, fuller in flavor, higher in quality, and nothing like anyone in Boston had tasted. In celebration of our 30th anniversary, we’re pleased to bring back this beer that helped launch the craft beer revolution. 6-packs of Harpoon Ale will be hitting the market soon.
