Salt Lake City, UT, June 2nd – Epic Brewing continues its expansion on the east coast with distribution in

Maryland. Epic is partnering with Backup Beverage LLC, Maryland’s newest craft beer distributor. Initial

distribution will cover the counties west of the Chesapeake Bay with future expansion planned in the east.

Backup Beverage was founded in 2015 by Chris Turner. With more than a decade of Craft Beer distribution

under his belt, Chris struck out on his own to create a beverage distribution company based on a simple

principle: Craft Beer Sold the Right Way.

“We are committed to building brands and the craft beer community through education and excellent customer

service. We’re very excited to be partnering with Epic Brewing and offering their unique and highly rated beers,”

said Chris Turner.

The initial brand launch will highlight Epic’s new lineup including Tart ‘n Juicy Sour IPA and Los Locos, Mexican-

Style Lager with sea salt and lime, both offered in 12oz cans. Backup Beverage will also be carrying Epic’s

popular barrel aged beers, IPA’s, and Belgian-Style fruit beers along with unique offerings from Epic’s expanding

sour program.

“Chris Turner is an expert in Craft Beer and we are thrilled to be part of his new company and to have the

opportunity to be part of Maryland’s expanding craft beer scene,” said National Sales Manager, Darin McGregor.
