Dry Dock Brewing Company Releases Seasonal Grapefruit Double IPA

AURORA, CODry Dock's beloved Double IPA gets a refreshing twist in the brewery’s new seasonal beer. It's a tall order to brighten this beer— a gentle beast brewed with seven different American "C" hops— but we think the infusion of grapefruit is a perfect complement. Expect hoppy characteristics of citrus and pine intertwined with bright flavors of grapefruit juice and zest for a bold and refreshing experience.

A lower ABV version of this beer was originally brewed to serve at Old Chicago in 2015, and it was so popular that we decided to bring it back with even more strength this year. The infamous ship from Dry Dock's Double IPA label reappears on the artwork for Grapefruit DIPA, making collector's items out of the limited number of 22-ounce bombers that will be available across Colorado.

Grapefruit DIPA will be released in bombers at North Dock on Thursday, May 5 where it will also be on draft. Bombers will be available at South Dock this weekend, and in Colorado liquor stores beginning next week.

This beer was brewed as a small batch to be enjoyed fresh, and will only be available while supplies last.
