Everett, MA - March 31, 2016 - This spring, Night Shift Brewing teams up with New Entry Sustainable Food Project’s farm-share program, World PEAS CSA, to support their mission of food security for both local farmers and low-income families. Established in 1998, New Entry, which is an initiative of Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, aims to provide beginning farmers with the foundation and training to build their business along with a resilient local food system. Night Shift is proud to join their cause in becoming a pickup location for the duration of this year’s program, running from June 7th through October 18th.

"We already have a lot of our regulars very excited about using us as a CSA pickup," says Night Shift co-founder, Michael Oxton. "It's a cause that fits right in line with our core values and interests."

World PEAS Food Hub Manager, Kristen Whitmore adds, "The World PEAS CSA offers the opportunity for folks to eat super high-quality, locally grown produce all season long while supporting the next generation of multicultural farmers in our community. And what goes great with fresh, local food? Local craft beer! We are so glad to be partnering with Night Shift this season to support another local business and get more fresh food into our community."

There are a
variety of shares to choose from, providing the flexibility to select one that works best for each individual's lifestyle. Upon sign-up, Night Shift can be designated as the preferred pickup location for fresh, local fruits and vegetables delivered each week. Sign-ups are available now through Sunday, May 15th. World PEAS representatives will be stationed at Night Shift’s Taproom on Sunday, April 10th to answer any questions about their CSA program.
