Redhook - Keg Explosion Death Lawsuit Settled for $1.2-Million

The lawsuit, filed against three companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of the keg, was settled for $1.2 million. The suit alleged that the keg was negligently designed and did not include safety features. 

The owner of Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth is facing more than $63,000 in fines in connection with a keg explosion that killed a brewery employee.
