Coronado Brewing Posts Over 50 Percent Growth for Third Consecutive Year

CORONADO, CA February 26, 2015Coronado’s Award-Winning ales have attributed to continued growth in 2014 including a 58 percent growth in total revenue year-over-year and brewing almost 30,000 barrels, a 36 percent increase from 2013.  

Coronado Brewing has grown more than 50 percent year-over-year in revenue for the third consecutive year with no signs of slowing. 

“We are coming off of a banner year with our recent World Beer Cup® awards and opening up our new location in Imperial Beach," said Rick Chapman, co-founder and president of Coronado Brewing Company. "This is an exciting time to be in the San Diego craft beer community and we are looking forward to what 2015 has to offer.” 

Speaking of 2015, Coronado Brewing has already started the year with numbers that will keep the brewery on track to make it four years in a row of significant growth.  “Our business in California is stronger than ever, with the addition of some new national accounts, our revenue trends in Northern California are up 77 percent.  Southern California is also off to a abundant start with our new distributor partners that came online in September,” said Brandon Richards, director of sales and marketing for Coronado Brewing Company.  “We are excited about the plans we have in place and expect to keep growing our sales and revenue for the brewery and our distributor partners.”

Coronado Brewing is expanding into new markets in 2015 including Illinois, New Jersey and Rhode Island while potentially scouting Georgia and Minnesota for the fall or early 2016.
