Stone - Old Guardian Extra Hoppy 2015 Odd Year Release & 2015 Classic Release

image
Here’s your very first look at the 2015 Classic and Odd Year release for Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine Style Ale.  For the 2015 Odd Year Release Stone has created an Extra Hoppy Version and of course we’ll also get the 2015 Classic Release of Old Guardian as well.  Both beers will be packaged in 22oz bottles and both beers come in at 10.5% ABV.  Stay tuned for the IBU on Extra Hoppy.

From Stone:

If you're one of the millions of souls currently buried under piles of snow, this news ought to warm you up (and even if you’re not, it’s sure to make your Friday that much happier). Starting next Monday, February 9, you'll be able to get your mittens on a bottle of 2015 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine AND 2015 Stone Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine - Extra Hoppy (or two, or twelve; you might want to stock up since that rodent in Punxsutawney forecasts more winter). Our usual hefty, Stone-ified version of the traditional strong ale got an extra dose of Stone-ification courtesy of this year's Odd Year release, with a delicious blast of Azacca hops adding layers of fruit and citrus flavors to an already complex brew. Check out the deets ahead of the pack (the newsletter-less masses won't get to see this until Monday) on the official Classic and Odd Year beer pages, and start plotting the shortest route to your local bottle shop.

Check the
Stone Beer Finder to find both of these heavy-hitting, editions at a retailer or bar near you.
