Vermont Hard Cider Company Sweeps 2014 World Expo of Beer Commercial Competition

Vermont Hard Cider Company is the proud recipient of the World Expo of Beer Commercial Competition awards for Best Standard Ciders and Best Specialty Ciders. The World Expo of Beer Competition took place on April 12, 2014 in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and received a total of 445 entries for all categories of the competition. Vermont Hard Cider Company took home the first, second and third place awards for both hard cider categories, sweeping the competition entirely.

“The World Expo of Beer is a prestigious annual event, and we are thrilled to be the winners in both hard cider categories,” said Vermont Hard Cider Company Communications Manager Nate Formalarie. “This is further proof that we make the best tasting, highest quality craft cider, and our dedication to innovation and authenticity pays off.”

In the Standard Cider category, Vermont Hard Cider’s brand Wyder’s was awarded first place for its Dry Pear Cider. Woodchuck Hard Cider’s Crisp Cider took second place, and Woodchuck Hard Cider’s Pear placed third.

In first place in the Specialty Cider category was Woodchuck’s Private Reserve Belgian White, while Woodchuck’s Raspberry Cider received the second place award, and Woodchuck’s Cellar Series Chocolate Cider received the third place award.

This was Vermont Hard Cider Company’s 7th year competing in the World Expo of Beer Commercial Competition.
