Peace Tree Brewing - Champagne Cider & Templeton Red

imageFrom Peace Tree:

If you visit our taproom for the holidays, we also have 22oz bottles of our Champagne Cider available.

This cider is fresh-pressed from Williams & Sons Orchards in Runnels, IA, then fermented at Peace Tree with a champagne yeast, to give it a dry balance to the tart and sweet apple cider.

We’re also running a special on Sidekick Kolsch through the holidays. Cases are now available for just $21 (plus tax & deposit) when you visit our taproom! A great contribution to your holiday party.

Call me biased, but I have to tell you, our Templeton Red is one of my very favorite beers.

We started this brew with the malty backbone of our Red Rambler ale, then aged it for over a year in oak barrels from our friends at Templeton Rye Prohibition-Era Whiskey, in Templeton, Iowa. The result is a malty amber ale with deep oak flavor and hints of vanilla and rye whiskey.

This bold brew arrives in bottles just in time for Thanksgiving – and is certainly worth celebrating! Be on the look out for it in your favorite pubs, restaurants and stores in the near future.
