Stoudt’s Achluphobia Ale Black-Kolsch-Style Ale

It’s keg-only so far, but here’s a peek at Stoudt’s Achluphobia Ale Black-Kolsch-Style Ale…we’ll check in with our pal Brett Kintzer @ Stoudt’s but the label list it like this:  So you’re afraid of the dark (beer).  Worry no more because this dark ale does not have the strong bitter & roasted flavors that most dark beers have.  Possibly the first ever “black kolsch”, this dark kolsch-style ale uses several specialty kilned malts which give it lots of color without all the harsh flavors.  Fermented with our Kolsch yeast strain, the beer is exceptionally clean, crisp & refreshing, so you don’t have to be afraid of the dark (beer) anymore!…..4.8% ABV
