Weis Markets Hazleton, PA To Add Beer Cafe

MrZ1

The photo above shows the Dallas, PA Weis Market sign when they first added their Beer Café, and now comes word that the West Hazleton Boro Council approved the Weis Market request to transfer a liquor license to their Susquehanna Blvd, West Hazleton Store.  This approval will lead to a $3 Million overhaul to allow the Café to seat 35 people and sell over 60 different beers beginning in Oct 2012.  The current Deli & Bakery will be replaced with the Beer Café and assuming it follows the same rules as the other stores in Dallas & Clarks Summit, you can take out up to two six-packs or sit in and drink up to two beers….so stay tuned Hazleton!

Good news, but I think you are confusing your terms... Weiss is a beer. The grocery chain is Weis with one s.

    minus 2 for spelling

  2. Funny catch Prof! Actually my spell checker allows you to add your won words. Of course I've added Weiss and other forms of wheat beer...so guess what it auto-corrected Weis to?!
