  1. I found the Shandy too light. It almost taste like Sprite with a hint of alcohol in the aftertaste.

  2. That is really common for a Shandy...half soda half beer (historically)

  3. Yea, the Shandy was what brought me here. I bought the "brewers collection" and the other 3 beers were good but I may have to give the Shandy away.

  4. Surprised how good the pils was and the Rye Ale were. The Blonde was average. The Shandy is a waste. This is suppose to be a collection for beer drinkers? Why the Shandy? It's for the wine cooler crowd.

  5. Maybe they're including it for the non craft-beer lovers.

  6. I hate the Shandy. I just tried my second bottle, and it is nasty.

  7. Have you liked other Shandys John and not Labatt's or do you just not like all Shandy's?

  8. Have tried the shandy and blonde so far, and there is no distinction. Hope the other two are better.

  9. Actually the Shandy is similiar to what we got in Ireland. A "local" in one of the pubs put us on to Shandys for a good summer brew.

  10. Thought the shandy was perfect after four hours on a lawn tractor. Better than shocktop!

  11. These 4 beers by Labatt were by no means a homerun. They kind of lack a punch and seem like a light beers w/ various flavors, however they have a decent taste and at $15.00/ case I'll buy it.

  12. My local packy ran a special on the Brewers Collection: Shandy, Rye Ale,
Blonde Ale and A GREAT nobile Pils. I know these are not "real" "crafty",
A little light on the hops,BUT DAMN, for $20.00 bucks a case they are a awesome value.
One reason only. They all drink clean, crisp and are perfectly carbonated.Bottom Line they did not call this Craft Brewers Collection.Just a well made beer that would be enjoyed by new beer drinkers and old alike.
Just wish i could get my hands on the Porter and Nut Brown collection!.
