Jolly Pumpkin–La Roja Grand Reserve

Tons of new label approvals to catch up on, but here’s a favorite… Jolly Pumpkin Brewing La Roja Grand Reserve.  This Artisan Amber Ale will be packaged in 11.2oz bottles and I suspect it will carry a pretty hefty ABV.  This Flanders-style brew is blended from barrels aged at least one year in oak.

  1. I think this is the first time I recall seeing JP in something other than a 750ml - is this a new development?

  2. I suspect it must be a smaller batch Anon but yes this is relatively new to them.

  3. That's a pretty loose use of the phrase relatively new. They used these bottles for the April 2010 release of Biere de Mars Grand Reserve. Then again for both batches of Bambic and the 2011 BdM GR. In addition to all those they have bottled limited amounts of La Roja and Bam Noire for pub consumption in these.
