Deschutes The Abyss 2011, Hoppin’ Frog Barrel Aged Naked Evil BBW, Ellicottville/Southern Tier Oktoberfest & New Albanian Tunnel Vision

Deschutes The Abyss 2011:  Here’s the 2011 release of this 22oz big 11% ABV Imperial Stout “malt beverage brewed with black strap molasses, licorice, with cherry bark and vanilla added with 6% aged in oak bourbon barrels, 11% aged in oak barrels and 11% aged in oak wine barrels.”  This version looks to be “Best AFTER 11/15/2011”

Hoppin’ Frog Barrel Aged Naked Evil:  Looks like This Beer we brought you back in May….now aged in Barrels and with new label text.    This 11.3% ABV 22oz packaging is “Fermented with both British and Belgian yeasts for a lightly spicy twist on this old-world beer style.  Sweet malt flavors will become smoother and rich dark fruit characters will build with time to add a wonderful complexity and depth of flavor.”

Ellicottville Brewing (aka Southern Tier Brewing) Oktoberfest:  Here’s the 2011 version of Ellicottville Brewing Oktoberfest Lager.  Look for it to be in 12oz bottles for an early fall release.

New Albanian Brewing Tunnel Vision:    This “Royal Wallonian Ale” will be bottled in 22oz bottles and use Belgian Chouffe yeast and Magnum hops to become “the ultimate subterranean sexy chic.”  (22.01 degrees-Plato)
