New Belgium Lips of Faith Super Cru

We brought you the first announcement New Belgium Lips of Faith Grand Cru Abbey Ale…and also the mention of a new Lips of Faith Super Cru.  We showed off the keg packaging and here’s the new 22oz 10% ABV Super Cru Ale Brewed with Pear Juice.  This brew is part of new Belgium's 20th Anniversary celebration and uses the “backbone of Fat Tire” with twice the hops and malt, an addition of Asian pear juice and saison yeast.

  1. Is this available anywhere in the NEPA area? According to NB's website they do not distribute anywhere near here (NC being the closest state).

  2. Not yet Anon...New Belgium is readily availble in North Carolina and New Belgium just announced distribution to more east coast states. Personally I think it's just a matter of time befor ethey distribute in PA, but until then you'll have to trade, or better yet, visit New Belgium.

  4. It should be available now, but not sure about NC. I'm sure you know NB does distribute to quite a few places in Charlotte, but since Super Cru is pretty limited I'm not sure we'll see much. You can check back here: http://www.newbelgium.com/beer/finder.aspx too

  5. I checked with the guys at Total Wine in the Southpark area and they let me put in an order. Should arrive around July 4th. I'm pleased to have found a way to order it.
