Mikkeller–Centennial, Cascade & Amarillo Single Hop IPA Series

We’ve already brought you Bravo and Challenger in the Mikkeller single-hop series of beers, so here we have the latest three brews, Centennial, Cascade and Amarillo.  Mikkel brewed 18 different IPAs that used the same weight of a single hop variety only.  These beers were all crated during the same week, using the same malt, yeast and fermentation temperatures in an effort to isolate the individual hop varieties characteristics.  All will be bottled in 11.2oz bottles and all three of these are 6,8% ABV.  Today we have Centennial (56 IBU), Cascade (38 IBU) and Amarillo (72 IBU)…Five down…13 more to go!
