AuRants – Menu via Photos

I’m excited to see that Dave is back up to speed in the kitchen at AuRants and I thought I’d share a few creations. In order we have
1) the vegan velocity - a customized creation consisting of blackened asian tofu over thai chili sauce and marinated mushrooms and onions over a vegan cucumber sauce
2) smoked gouda mac & cheese and asian apple cabbage slaw
Yes I chose to show off the vegetarian-friendly dishes…but hey…it’s MY blog right?

My first thought about the mac n cheese/slaw - smoked gouda and apples are a great match and the slaw will cut through the richness of the cheese quite nicely. Sounds delicious.
I agree...it's making me hungry as we speak..
Definitely. It's nice to see some variation on Mac-n-Cheese. Now where is AuRants again?

We plan to head up there next Fri (10/16) and the NEPA beer club guys are heading there 10/13. Their grand opening is 10/14.
