16 September 2009

Today we have the famous Professor Bartel with his Bartel’s Pure Beer.  Not sure of the age of this one.

That is 70's. That label differs slightly from the 80's bartels label I drank in college.

BTW if the lion is reading this PLEASE bring back the professor on your label. He should have never gone away in the first place. I'm sure it wont cost much to do a new label, and why waste 100 years of tradition?

So shall we start the "Bring back the Professor campaign?"

We can dress up like him for Tours and events!

But first let's fully realize our "bring back liebotschaner" campaign!

Yeah, the current label for Bartels couldn't be uglier. Like the inside of a cave, fer cryin' out loud!

I'm not sure they sell enough of it to pay for a label change, though.

They could use some money they make off of lionshead... maybe it'll hit with a new label.

What IS that label supposed to be anyway? A barren desert landscape?

I remember the first time in college i opened a case expecting to see the Professor ensuring there is "none better" and saw that desolate landscape.
